Jaguar has revealed the C-X17 SUV concept on the eve of the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is the first ever 4x4 SUV from the British premium maker and, it says, has officially been created to showcase the flexibility of its new all-aluminium platform. Unofficially, this is a toe in the water from Jaguar, to test reaction to the idea of its first SUV.
This is the Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe. After years of competing admirably against the BMW M3 Coupe with four-door saloons, the recent launch of the C-class Coupe means Merc’s go-faster tuning arm AMG finally has a two-door on which to build a worthy rival. And this is it, the C63 AMG Coupe, which sports a big V8 capable of producing 480bhp.

With Red Bull and McLaren filling the front two rows of the grid in the Bahrain Grand Prix, will we see normal business resume for F1? From a mix and match grid at the first three grand Prix of the 2012 season, we see Vettel back on the front row – and on pole – with Hamilton alongside and Webber and Button behind in Bahrain. So it’s reasonable to expect a return to the sort of result in Bahrain we’re used to in F1.
